MWT Zoom Workshop

Discover how to work with Travel Trade & Business Event Organisers. This workshop is not just for big business. This market includes small groups and independent travelers .

 

If you are an attraction, experience, tour guide, activity provider or 3-5 star accommodation then this workshop is for you.

This work includes our ongoing and collaborative effort to lobby the Welsh Government for an urgent review of the 182-day self-catering policy, PASC has created a short survey and we urge our self catering members to complete this.

Mid Wales Tourism Awards 2024!
 
The Mid Wales Tourism Awards are Back! 
 
Applications will open in the coming weeks with the awards ceremony taking place at the beginning of November. The winners of the regional awards will be put forward to the Visit Wales national awards in March 2025.

A warm welcome to the WTAs new Policy Advocate, Lisa Francis, who has recently taken over from Adrian Greason Walker. 
 
Adrian will have been known to many of you and his dedicated research and reporting will be missed.
 
We would like to thank Adrian for all his support and we wish Lisa all the best in her new role. 
Welcome to our New Members
River Wood is the only gallery-bookshop in the UK dedicated solely to wildlife and wild places. It is situated in Rhayader, the outdoor capital of Wales, close to the famous Elan Valley, a Dark Skies Reserve and a wild landscape of lakes, woods and mountains.
 
The gallery shows the wildlife art of James Roberts who works in a unique style using ink and salt on paper. Original paintings, prints, pamphlets and cards are available. The bookshop adjoining the gallery has many nature, wildlife, art and photography titles, both new and secondhand. The gallery and bookshop is housed in a grade 2 listed building, one of the oldest shops in Wales, dating back to the 16th century with many original features.
The Johnson family having been running Dafarn Fuel Station since 2009. Situated less than 1 mile from the beautiful Powys location of Lake Vyrnwy and is on Glyndŵr’s Way.  They offer a wide range of convenience store foods alongside a hot food takeaway menu, fresh homemade sandwiches and cakes.
